Donahue Schriber Realty Group was a privately held real estate investment trust (REIT) based in Costa Mesa, California, specializing in the ownership, development, and management of grocery-anchored neighborhood and community shopping centers across the Western United States. Founded in 1969 by Dan Donahue and Tom Schriber, the firm built a portfolio of high-quality retail properties in markets such as California, Oregon, and Washington. In April 2022, Donahue Schriber was acquired by First Washington Realty, a Bethesda, Maryland–based real estate investment and management firm, in a transaction valued at over $3 billion. This acquisition added 47 shopping centers and one office property, totaling approximately 6 million square feet, to First Washington's holdings, expanding its presence on the West Coast and enhancing its portfolio of open-air retail centers.
